This auction is for a vintage Bulova men's watch. The case is 14karat gold and is marked as such on the back. According to the serial number and the M3 mark just below the 14kt gold mark, this watch is from 1963. It is very thin and is 3.5cm long lug to lug and 3cm in diameter. The band is fairly new, purchased in October but it has been worn and should probably be replaced. The watch works and keeps good time but the rewind does not stop. The stem just keeps turning. A jeweler told me what the problem was but I have not gotten around to getting it fixed. The crystal is original and in good shape. It does have a few small scratches but they are barely noticeable. The case is in excellent condition. The face has some discoloration on the side by the 1 and 3 but it looks like dust on the crystal and I'm pretty sure it could be cleaned up. I have never opened the case. It was serviced in 2002 by a watchmaker. With a little help this watch could be as good as new and a beautiful addition to any watch collection.
I forgot to put in the description of this watch that it is a Swiss movement. It is marked on the front face with the word Swiss just below the 6. The letters are very tiny.
