This is a sign from the Donaldson Art & Sign Co. plant when they closed in the early 80's. That plant also was known as Dasco. They tended to keep one of each sign they produced , sometimes more than one and sometimes 3 or 4pieces of sign if they had to access for color separations..This is one of the bin samples. I believe it was a hangar or the front for a tin over cardboard that naturally wasn't crimped yet. There is all kind of writing around the bottom black border like "gold lacquer" and the color red reference numbers and things you can't read or understand. The top left black border lists the stock # as 18636 and in the other corner it says sh (for shelf) 11. Size is approx. 10 x 14" and very nice shape overall. If you like nice and you like rare, here is a very nice one of a kind beer sign that your buddies won't have .It will be a great conversation piece. I think the piece is from the 40's
