Burgess and Leigh's Middleport England pattern of flow blue called "Nonpareil" is an elegant example of this period of finely crafted cobalt and white wares. This auction is for one pentagonal covered dish or tureen. It measures 10.25" handle to handle and 7.5" at the top. It is in nice shape with just one chip on the underside of the lid. It does have crazing and discoloration on the inside and bottom. I have heard that the discoloration can be "baked" out of the flow blue somehow, but I'll leave that to you collectors. We are listing several Nonpareil pieces today and if you buy multiple items you will save by combining shipping charges. We will ship this via FedEx Ground. Thanks for stopping!
