It is our pleasure to present, for your consideration, this lovely and most unusual Burl Walnut Victorian Drop Leaf Table with Octagonal Top, Side Drawer and Fancy Base (Circa: 1880). This lovely table weighs approximately 50 pounds and measures 28 ¼" in total height, 36" by 36" in width and depth (with the octagonal top fully opened) and 36" by 15" in width and depth (with the drop leaves down or closed). Beautiful details are found on this unique Table! This elegant Table is constructed of solid walnut with burl walnut accents. The top is graced with luscious burl walnut with chocolate-brown felt panel inserts. Beautiful applied, carved fretwork with scrolls and fleur-de-lis is found on the side of the table and repeated on the dovetailed side drawer. This dovetailed side drawer is graced with a wooden ebonized pull with brass center. The powerful Table base is adorned with a substantial center turned post with a distal drop finial. Pierced carved, scrolled sconces are found on the fluted legs along with additional applied carved fretwork with scroll and fleur-de-lis motifs.
