Up for bid is this early BURNETT APOTHECARY medicine bottle from 33 TREMONT ROW BOSTON . This bottle is 8 3/8 inches tall and 3 ¼ inches wide. This bottle holds 16 flu ozs and has a crudely formed applied lip. It is oval in shape and dates from the late 1870's-early 1880's. This bottle is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or dings, it does have a bit of inner stain, some very light scratches overall, a trace of amber glass in the lip and crazing marks or lines from the cooling of the glass in the manufacturing of its crude uneven applied lip. All seen with a loop and as shown in the pictures. I mention everything for accuracy. This early example of a BURNETT APOTHECARY medicine from Boston would make an excellent addition to anyone's Massachusetts town, drug or medicine bottle collection.
