Welcome to my listing,This is for an MIJ (Made in Japan) Burny Les Paul Custom. Part of the lawsuit guitars which have the open book style headstock of a Gibson style guitar. Has a Mahogany Body, as far as I know it doesn't have a Maple Cap, finished in an Alpine White but it has now yellowed a little to a nice creme style finish, the original white colour is underneath the pick guard.Ebonised rosewood fingerboard so it's Rosewood that's been dyed a darker shade to ebony. This was done at the factory and isn't some dodgy after-market job. The rosewood is hard and smooth though. Low-profile frets that still have quite a bit of life in them, the 13th fret had some minor grooves but this has been leveled out and fixed. There is NO Serial number on these guitars, they didn't come with Serial Numbers. Please see the link: /wiki/Burny which has a picture showing that my truss rod cover dates the guitar from late 80's to early 90's. The pots seem to have a 90's date to them. The guitar is fitted with the VH1 pickups which are like a hot PAF in my personal opinion. Great pickups and have some re-sale value being MIJ Pickups. The guitar rings acoustically and has great sustain which has come with years of being played and enjoyed. The nut has recently been re-glued in by a professional guitar tech, it's had a set up and is good to go.
