Bush AC34 Radio This radio is on sale at a price reduction of more than 30%.This is a one time offer only and will never be repeated. For auction we have a nice Bush Model AC34 radio, serial number 147/ 13133, release date 1953. This radio has been fully refurbished and is in full working order. Work done: Chassis fully cleaned. Repairs to screened cables made (some ends perished). Audio output transformer replaced. All wax paper capacitors replaced. AC supply input wiring and cable updated. Suppression capacitor fitted. Mains safety earth fitted. Knob cleaned and engraving refilled. Mixer oscillator valve replaced UCH42. Cabinet was fully striped including the original veneer. The veneer was striped due to it becoming very thin during preparation for re-varnishing therefore showing the plywood underneath (See the pictures for the cabinet). New veneer (American Walnut) was fitted and the cabinet was re-varnished in Walnut. The cabinet front trims were prepared and varnished then fitted to the cabinet. A replacement Bush logo decal was fitted to the top of the cabinet. The chassis and auxiliary parts were fitted. Alignment checked and corrected where required.
