This auction is for a Swamp Rat Ratmandu knife and custom kydex bushcraft style survival sheath. All items pictured are new and unused. The knife is the earlier style differentally tempered SR-101 blade with green powdercoat finish. The earlier knives like this had very rounded spines and did not work well to spark the flint unless the spine was reground. I've ground the spine on the knife from the thumb ramp to the point. This removed very little material and mostly powdercoat. The result is a beautiful spine that will now throw a perfect shower of sparks. See pics. This knife is ready to take into the woods and carve and hack until you are tired. The sheath is as nice as the knife itself. It retains the knife well and promotes a very comfortable carry and a natural draw. I flare the mouths so they can be pushed with the thumb off of the knife. The sheath is a flow through design for easy cleaning with soap and water. I use only the highest grade and best components in my rigs for a long durable life.
