This bust of President Franklin D. Roosevelt was done by famed sculptor Robert Berks. He has sculpted many other notable presidents (J.F.K., Lincoln, Truman, LBJ) and other famous persons (i.e. Martin Luther King.) These works are often sold at Presidential Libraries. I bought this one at FDR's home and library in Hyde Park, New York.
It was created to commemorate the fiftieth anniversary of FDR's death. The head measures 7.5" and is mounted on a 2 3/4" black base. It has been one of the shelves of my bookcase and is in perfect condition.
