For sale is a truly unique collectable from the April 18, 2016 AZ Diamondbacks at SF Giants game, which the Giants lost 9-7. This game-used, MLB Authenticated baseball was pitched in the bottom of the 1st inning by Archie Bradley and hit by SF Giant superstar Buster Posey for a single to right field. The ball was next pitched in the dirt to Hunter Pence, and removed from play.Authenticated balls such as this are sent mid-game to sale to the public, and are sold by the team. The authentication is input by the on-site MLB authenticators, who apply the holograms and enter the details of the play. Authentications can be verified through the site.
