BUTCHER SHOP SIGN Circa 1886 "Pork Butcher", from Bohacks German Meat Market, Masbeth (Queens), New York City. This market developed into New York City's first "supermarket" after WWI, and eventually had over 60 stores around New York City. The sign was later displayed in the Union Turnpike market in Flushing Queens. Height 24". Width 43".
