INTERNATIONAL BIDDERS PAY $3.00 HANDLING FEE WHEN CHECKING OUT. Just starting to list a small collection of dolls from a NH estate. The collector, a 96 year of lady had been out of the home for years, and has just passed away. Before they tore the home down some items were rescued. The dolls I will be listing from this estate have been sitting in the home uncovered, they are dusty, but thank goodness no smoking smell. Here a Butcherer/ SABA metal, ball jointed body, composition head Doll, made in Switzerland, signed on the metal chest plate Made in Switzerland Pat. pending. This Co. was in business from 1921-1935. What a treasure to find her in this home. I believe she is the mother in the Katzenjammer Kids Family series. She isn't perfect, Her clothes are dusty and apron is dirty, Her composition head has a neck in the neck in the back, see pictures, and on her face there some tiny pin prick spots on the paint, she is missing paint on her thumb. Now for the good part, her metal ball jointed body is in very good condition, she stands alone and can hold all the posses I tried on her. Hands are composition also. She is approx. 7" tall. Very unique doll.Please ask questions before you bid. I purchase dolls at Estate Sales, Auctions and from private parties, I resell them just as I purchase them, I don't redress them or fix their hair.
