This Butter Churn is 14"H X 5.5"W. We believe it is an early Dazey because the number on the handle says No.40.and # 40 is repeated twice on the gear head This is a unique churn because the jar has a design that resembles a bushel basket. The glass is embossed on the bottom with an emblem that looks like a oval with a diamond in it and a cross in the middle. The number 7 appears on the left and below the logo. An 8 is on the right of the logo. The metal part of the handle has "40 H" embossed on it. Not sure you can see that in the photo. This churn is older than most of the churns I have seen and has a beautiful patina. The old wooden paddles turn smoothly and are in good condition. No chips or cracks just manufacturing imperfections as on any authentic original primitive glass.. Shipping estimate is 15.00 - 20.00, weighs approx.. 10 lbs. Please e-mail me if you have questions.
