Butterscotch Deco Figure Gracefully looking behind her, this feminine form allows the eye to travel around easily through the smooth contours of glass and the Art Deco aesthetic. Mounted on a hand ground and polished two stage glass base, signed Milon Townsend, 2000. 5" x 3" x 2" This sculpture is a unique piece that Milon created in his studio - it is not available through any of his representing galleries. Milon Townsend has been making artwork in glass for over 35 years. Self-taught, he has created a vast body of work, from perfumes and paperweights to fine one-of-a-kind sculptures. His training in classical music was instrumental in his tendency to create objects with form, balance and harmony.
