You are bidding on a brand new/never used Butz-Choquin calabash pipe, sometimes called a 'Sherlock Holmes'. the pipe is 8" long, and the bowl is 3" wide. the bowl is carved from block meerschaum, cork lined to keep it snug, a nice horn shaped gourd, a briar shank extension for the black lucite stem to fit without causing wear on the gourd. these pipes normally retail for about $150.00. the pipe is in excellent condition and will make a great addition to anyone's collection. please feel free to ask questions.
