Buzz Aldrin [1930] is an American engineer and former astronaut who is the second man to walk on the moon during the historic Apollo 11 lunar mission. Listed for auction is an impressive commemorative Apollo 11 lunar landing plaque which is signed by Buzz Aldrin. The autograph is signed ''Buzz Aldrin'' in black felt pen and the plaque is a copy of the original plaque which was affixed to the Lunar Excusion Module which was left on the moon. The plaque reads as follows,''Here Men From The Planet Earth First Set Foot Upon The Moon July 1969, A.D. We Came In Peace For All Mankind''. The plaque also contains the facsimile signatures of President Richard M. Nixon and the crew of Apollo 11. The wood plaque measures 10.00 x 12.00 inches and there are two engraved plates attached. The plaque is very attractive and is in fine condition. The autograph is authentic, hand signed and the plaque will be a nice addition to any astronaut collection.
