This 18 inch Bye-Lo doll is by Grace S. Putnam and was made in Germany. The bisque head is in very good condition with no cracks . It is 15-1/2 inches in circumference. The doll has blue sleep eyes change easily with shifts in position. The eyelids in closed position show some discoloration associated with age. The doll has a cloth, frog type body. The hands are intact and it is not known whether they are original. I detect no signs of repair. The doll has a crier that does not work. The clothes are not original. The doll was made in the 1920's.
