Beautiful tiny-size 9” BYE-LO BABY with blue glass sleep eyes, original celluloid hands, cloth body; her perfect bisque head is incised “ Copr. // Grace S. Putnam // … ” Back of left hand has indentation but no repair. Her eyes have all-around painted lashes under barely-there brows to match her bumpy-molded hair; cheeks are round & rosy and her closed mouth is a bit pouty, originally made to represent a 3 day old infant. Body has box to make sound, but no longer functions. The body is in very good condition with original stuffing. Doll wears a , cotton gown and slip, high socks and a diaper, I do not believe any of the clothing are original to the doll; from our late mother's private collection, the doll comes from a non-smoking environment.
