Byers' Choice The Carolers - "The Cries of London " Baker with Bread, 1992 Signed - Byers' 1992 Byers' "The Cries of London " Baker With Bread 1992 You are bidding on this Byers' Choice "The Cries of London" Series 1992. This is a baker with his loaves of bread in the basket. He is signed Byers' 1992. He is just adorable with his white muslin chef jacket, and apron which is wrapped around his navy trousers and has a big tie in the front. He has a red and white checked scarf draped over his shoulder. His has his large floppy chef hat in the same material as the jacket. He is an older man with his spectacles on the end of his nose which is hidden in his scraggly beard and facial hair. He has his shoes which stick out from his pants in painted black and sit on the green base. He stands just over 13" tall. He has a large wicker basket on his left arm which holds two loaves of French bread. I believe from other pictures he also originally had another basket on his head. If he did the second basket is missing. T are a few imperfections on the one loaf of bread. His clothes; face and everything else are spotless. If you need more photos, or have questions, please ask, we are to assist you to a decision. I purchased these as a group at an estate sale, and they were kept in a glass collector case. They were from a smoke and pet free home. The original tag is still hanging on his arm. He does not have a box. He is signed on the base Byers' 1992. If you love to cook, or have a chef to buy for this is a great collector item that will surely bring a smile. Our items are carefully packed and shipped the same day as payment.
