An absolutely amazing survivor: a c. 1790-1800 Creamwareplate with an intricately pierced edge, coggled rim and incised zigzag decoration, marked âeoeLeeds Pottery. The plate is 9 1⁄2âe in diameter and extremely delicately potted. I am always amazed that these pierced edged pieces have survived for over 200 years in ANY condition; the fact that this one is as fresh and crisp as it is astounds me. T is a VERY well done professional restoration to a chip in the edge (this chip was a clean break that was expertly repaired and only noticeable on the closest scrutiny âe" I have pointed out the repair in one of the photos by using an arrow). No other damage or repairs to this plate. The Leeds Pottery mark is a very faint impression that I will try to photograph. If you like undecorated English creamware, this plate is well worth your consideration. Buyer prepays, plus postage.
