c. 1800 Antique Domed-Top Steamer Trunk A gorgeous antique steamer trunk in good condition. Wood with tin metal overlay. Small roller wheels on bottom, missing leather strap handles on either side. The outside of chest is in good condition, with some wear from age and storage. The center lock does not have a key. The side latches have swing out locks on the bottom of both that are in good working condition. The lid opens with ease. The interior has been tastefully restored. The bottom is lined with a calico cloth but the lid has original finish. T is an insert in the lid that opens up - it was probably to hold shoes. Great for extra storage and would make a great accent piece for the foot of the bed . Measures 31" wide x 19" deep x 22" high (to center of dome ). I DO NOT SHI P ITEMS OF THIS SIZE AND WEIGHT. Local pick up only. Will store for a reasonable period of time to allow for pickup.
