c.1850's AUTOGRAPH ALBUM w/ ENGRAVINGS

This is a magnificent old autograph album dating from about 1854 - 1861. It belonged to June C. Brown of Lisbon, Connecticut and is filled with autographs and poems. The album was published by J.C. Riker, New York and features 6 beautiful engravings. The first is titled "The Dream". Some of the handwritten names on the autographs are Sarah Huntington, Hattie C. Avery (1854, Norwich, Ct.), Mary Kennedy (1854), Susan Dickinson (Holliston, MA), Marthe Northrop, Hattie Heyden and Abbie Morse.

The album has 28 pages and measures 6" x 7¾". T are gold embossed designs on the front and back cover. The cover has some wear, mostly on the edges. The binding is tight and the pages are intact and in good condition with no tears. Feel free to email me with questions.
