c.1900 PAPER CLIP-GERMAN-AMERICAN FIRE INSURANCE-NYC . Fabulous antique advertising aluminum paper clip in excellent condition. It is "Compliments of Fire-German American Insurance Company in New York" The flip side has an etched in picture of the old building which is now the Flat Iron building in New York City. "German American Building, Liberty Street, NY" is printed beneath it. The German-American Insurance Co. dates to 1872 and changed it's name in 1918 to the Great American Insurance Company, then in 1959 to Great American Life.
