Fully functional Radio Controlled CAT excavator with 6 channel transmitter...just add your own 7.2v pack and AA batteries and go! This is a German-made Bruder Excavator with custom screw drive conversion using high quality parts and high torque servos. This is a full 1:16th scale in size! Due to the high cost of the same-sized hydraulic metal RC excavators (currently $5,500 to $9,000,) many plastic units like this one have been converted using either screw-drive or hydraulics. This is very labor intensive but works great! Don't let the plastic construction fool you...these are plenty strong and have the advantage of readily available, inexpensive replacement parts. This unit can easily dig into loose dirt, sand, or rubber-gravel. The transmitter is included, and includes separate proportional dials for controlling the tracks. The other functions are controlled on the sticks...rotate, arm raise/extend, and bucket. This is for advanced RC users....no insructions are included and a working knowledge of RC equipment is required for functioning of this model.
