C.H. STALHANE - SCANDINAVIAN MODERN LAMP BASE - 50s Carl Harry Stalhane is one of Swedens most distinguished and famous potters and probably the most important artistic director at Rörstrand beside Gunnar Nylund. Educated in Stockholm and Paris , he has travelled extensively in search for inspiration and styles. you can find charming Scandinavian-Modern lamp base by C. H. Stalhane for Rörstrand Studio, created during his most creative and collected period. The piece originated during the mid 1950's, executed in stoneware and painterly hand decorated. The decor gives the impression of an abstract wood scape. Base in excellent condition (no chips, cracks, hairlines or other damages). Electric fully functioning. Measurements: height 14.56 inches. Signed with: Rörstrand, Sweden. Artist signature CHS (Carl Harry Stalhane). Under glaze mod. number 104/3.
