Rare one-of-a-kind framed 1933 U.S. Air Corps Training Diploma in excellent condition in a glass front wood frame with no creases or stains. Across the top are the words "The Air Corps Training Center". In the center are the words: "Be it known that Flying Cadet Clement Clinton Mitchell Jr. United States Army having satisfactorily completed the course of instruction at The Air Corps Training Center, has been judged proficient in all subjects taught therein as prescribed by the War Department. In testimony thereof and by virtue of vested authority we do confer upon him this DIPLOMA given on this 14th day of October in the year of our Lord one thousand nine hundred and thirty three". It is hand signed by 3 officers: "F.L. Martin, Lieutenant Colonel, Air Corps Commandant Air Corps Primary Flying School""H.B. Clagett Lieutenant Colonel Air Corps Commandant Advanced Flying School". Chas. H. Danforth, Brigadier General, Air Corps Commanding Air Corps Training Center. This is a one-of-a-kind piece of history in excellent condition. Nice display piece. I ship on Tuesdays and Fridays and most items are shipped by parcel post and books, CDs, DVD's, video games etc. by media mail but there is an option to use priority mail on the invoice I send you. Buyer is to pay shipping AND handling-my handling fee is not high-it covers the packaging materials, a little bit for my time and for the gas we have to use to deliver the package to the post office-it does not cover the ebay fees or the paypal fees, that comes out of the price of the item. I know everyone feels that we make a lot on the shipping and handling fees but this is not true--I live at the Bottom of Florida and the post office charges postage by distance, so many states are a lot farther away from me than if I were in the middle of the country. I will combine s/h if multiple auctions are won, if items can be shipped together by the same postal type. For example, books, CDs, and DVDs are sent by media mail, so if you also purchased an item that has to go parcel post, this can't be combined. If the item is fragile or breakable, insurance will be mandatory and added in with the s/h. We pack these items well and we have had some arrive broken, not by us but by the way the Post Office handles the packages. Please check out my other auctions. I am registered with paypal. All items paid by "Return Policy"----I do not accept returns unless the item I have sold is completely different from what I have listed. If the item is not as I have listed, or pictured, then it is an option. If the item arrives damaged by the post office that is not something that I did.
