Up for sale is a M19 Fairmont speeder. I am not a speeder expert so ask questions please. I can email you more pictures if t is something you would like to see better. This speeder is running and operational. It is as taken out of railroad service, used. It appears to be all original except for the following: Air filter housing has been changed. Exhaust is piped out the back w/muffler Corner marker lamps have been added. Maybe the battery and its box. are the items that are missing: The engine cover. The side port hole windows. This car I have been told dates to the WW 2 era, because the frame is steel and has large holes drilled in it, supposedly due to steel shortages at that time. The car is C&O MX101 numbered, although barely visible under that appears 4247. It does have 6 volt battery, buzz coil and generator. This is probably as close to a complete almost original M19 as you will find today. I will deliver this car to the railroadiana show in Indianapolis Indiana on October 27, 2007 if I have received cashiers check or U.S. Postal money orders by October 25, 2007 ONLY. Any other purchase, buyer must pickup in NW Mich. I have owned this car for approximately 10 years and recent health reasons require this sale. Please ask questions and please bid.
