Every living history exhibit needs a good chow display. These six cans of c-rations are the best, most authentic ration cans on the market.
The cans are the proper size. The light gold lacquer is correct WWII coloring. The best part - the labeling - is silk-screened in enamel ink directly on the metal can. Its not printed on paper and wrapped around a can. Its printed, like the originals, straight onto the can. The top is embossed with the maker's mark and packing date just like early WWII originals. A lead solder seam is hand painted down the back to simulate the original seaming process. You get six empty, but still sealed cans: 2 B units, 2 M-1 Meat and Beans units, and 2 M-2 Meat and Vegetable Hash units. T is no food inside. They look like loaded originals, but they're empty so they are perfect for long term museum displays or exhibits too. These ration cans will look great at your tent sitting on a ration crate; next to a mess kit; in your musette bag; on a field desk; bouncing around in your jeep; or filling the pockets of your M-41 field jacket. These are seen throughout the war in all theaters of operations...and everybody ate 'em: paratroopers, Marines, and of course regular GIs lived off of them.
