Deer Skinner C. Risner Cutlery Co. limited Edition knife 36 of 1200 Wooden case. Up for Auction is a single blade lock back 'Deer Skinner' knife Model number is 3335. This is hand crafted by the Star company in Japan . The knife is number 36 of a limited 1200 production. The knife is approximately 7 and ¾ inches long opened and 4.5 inches closed. Covering the front of the knife blade is a scene of a hunter with gun over shoulder dragging a buck in an opening. On the front tang is C. RISNER Cutlery Co. The front brass bolster near the blade is etched with 0036. The brass bolsters opposite the blade on both sides are shaped like a buck's head with the antlers coming up the side of the handles. T is an eyelet for a lanyard. On the back side of the blade are two decorative looking scrolling with the statement 'THE DEER SKINNER LIMITED EDITION F 1200 Made Expressly for C Risner CUTLERY CO between them. The handles are wood however I am not sure of the type. The knife comes in a nice hinged wooden box inside a card board box. The card board box is worn from handling. The latch on the wooden box is decorative and on the top corner of the wooden box to the right of the latch is a metallic sticker with the words 'DEER SKINNER'. This knife has never been sharpened or carried
