You are bidding on a Vintage C. S. Osborne 12 oz 00 Leather Saddlers Cobblers Hammer Newly installed finished hickory handle matching original length The hammer was recently obtained from an estate sale, and shows to have been well cared for. The exact age is unknown. I believe this is a Vintage C. S. Osborne, No 00, leather working / saddlers cobblers hammer. The hammer is stamped on head side with the circle CS Osborne & Co logo trade mark, and Harrison NJ , and a 00 âe" not sure what this means?, and STEEL . The hammer head is 3 1/2" wide, a 1 3/8" wide hammer face and a 1 1/4" wide curved end. The hammer is approx. 10 3/4" overall in length, and weighs approx. 15 ozs., including the handle. The hammerhead is approx. 12 ozs. The hammer is in good condition, the head has been cleaned and the handle is new. As with the vintage of the tool, t is some normal wear, and a few dings and scratches, all as noted from the photos. The Hammer would greatly enhance any collection or use it as a working tool .
