Ready to add to your growing collection of quality stoneware is this wonderful 3 Gallon Stoneware Crock made and stamped by C. W. BRAUN, BUFFALO, N.Y . Dating between 1857 and 1896, this beauty measures 10" tall and 10" wide. It features a Fancy Folk Art Floral Decoration composed of a five petaled flower and four leaves. The leaves are accented with dashes and the flower with dozens of cobalt dots. Braun was known for his whimsical flowers and this is a very good example! Very Good Condition . A small 1/2" chip on the underside on the right front, a minor stone ping on the right side in the making, and some minor staining on the back from use. Some wear to the surface of the left side of the flower. No rim chips, hairlines, cracks, stains, or repairs. A 3 Gallon C.W. Braun Crock with Whimsical Flower in Very Good Condition.
