Stover; both written from South Bend, Indiana, and seemingly written to Civil War soldiers. Content of letters contain a wide variety of news about local personalities. Also, includes mention about raising Civil War Bounty, filling quota, Draft. Also, talks about Rebs storming a fort; Tommy Hill being killed during that fight; a number of South Bend boys at Knoxville; etc. Useful lot for local collector ot historian. See Scan.
