UP for auction is an Antique DAMASCUS Double Barrel Shotgun Barrel with 24k GOLD trim . BARREL ONLY NO STOCK in this auction. This barrel came from Pritzwalk Germany in the mid 1800's. Which was Prissia when this barrel was made. The barrels are approximately 35" long. The metal has a highly swirled pattern to it and engraved F. NUENDORFF in PRITZWALK surrounded with 24k Gold trim. (see photos) At the time of the making of this barrel it must have been very expensive to make. I looked up Pritzwalk on the internet. It is in Northern Germany on the North Sea near Poland and is or was well known for it's water birds. Which is probably what this piece was used for. Apparently a Famous Conductor came from t at around the same time as this piece. T is no connection that I know of.

CONDITION: The condition of this barrel is excellent for being well over 150 years old. It does have brown patina to it. One nipple is slightly chipped and a tiny bit of the GOLD is missing. Otherwise it looks great to me.
