This week I am listing selections from a large estate collection of Flow Blue china. The owner was a serious collector for over 30 years. The attributions are hers although I have tried to corroborate them. This auction offers a very impressive water pitcher in the W. Davenport & Company's desirable "Amoy" pattern. This design was introduced in 1844. The pitcher measures 7 1/2" high and about 6" across. The bottom is marked as pictured. This piece is in very good condition with no damage, wear or restoration found. There is a bit of crazing of the glaze on the bottom only--not a distraction but mentioned for accuracy. A handsome example for any collection! The cost of U.S. insured shipping and proper packing varies with your postal zone. If the eBay estimate is high I'll refund your account.
