19th CENTURYPITTSBURGH BLOWN GLASSCOMPOTECUT DECORATIONPOLISHED PONTILc1880I SHIP WORLDWIDE Being offered in this sale is an AMERICAN blown glass compote with cut decoration that I would say dates circa 1880 or perhaps a little earlier. It was likely made by one of the Midwestern, Pittsburgh glass factories. It measures 4 7/8" tall and is 7 1/4" in diameter. It has a large polished pontil on the underside of the foot. The glass is BELL TONE flint glass that rings when you tap it with your finger. The condition is excellent. Other than minor surface scratches on the interior surface of the bowl which you would expect to find on a piece of this vintage, t are no chips, cracks, flakes, hairlines or repairs. Please feel free to email me with any questions. I always guarantee everything that I sell to be as described. The last six images illustrate a number of other pieces from an estate collection that I am listing separately on Ebay. You are bidding on only the one piece in this sale. This piece is being sold without a reserve as long as t is an opening bid. High bidder to pay $8.00 shipping/ including insurance - inside the United States and Canada. SAVE ON SHIPPING: If you are bidding on or plan to bid on more than one item I will at your request hold the items to ship together. I WILL SHIP TO EUROPE for $20.00. Money orders, personal
