The rug is in Good shape with some Low area excellent compared to its age and the rug is professionally washed and cleaned before we put it on eBay. So you don't have to be worried about any dust or odor. The pile is wool and the foundation is Silk . This piece is a very good quality rug. You can count the KPSI (Knott Per Square Inch) on the picture that shows it has been folded from the back side with the tape-measure placed on top of it. The kpsi is 600+ .
