ANTIQUEWEDGWOODART POTTERY - STONEWAREPITCHERC1883NO RESERVEI SHIP WORLDWIDESHIPPING FEE TO UK IS $22.00 Offered in this sale is an in interesting Wedgwood art pottery - stoneware - pitcher that I believe dates to1883. I do not know the name for this type of decoration. It measures roughly 8 1/8" tall and is 2 1/2" in diameter across the top expanding to 4" across the base. It impressed WEDGWOOD on the underside of the base along with the letter L which is the date code for 1883. It is also impressed GJC 12 and has a painted number 1527 (see 2nd image). The condition is very good. There is one small shallow scallop flake on the side of the edge on the upper rim near the handle and there is a very tight hairline across the base that seems to run seam to seam. I believe this could be an original firing line or stress line. Other than this there are no other chips, cracks or restoration. Please feel free to email with any questions. I always guarantee everything that I sell to be as described. The last six images illustrate a number of other items that I am listing for sale on Ebay including eight Napoleonic miniature portrait paintings, a mid century Royal Delft - De Porceleyne Fles - "experimental" series vase (8th image) and an art nouveau bronze. You are bidding on only the one piece in this sale. This piece is being sold WITHOUT read more
