c1890s Sextant by The A. Lietz Co. 61 Post St. San Francisco In Original Case This is an original circa 1890s Sextant by The A. Lietz Co. 61 Post St. San Francisco. It is brass painted black and looks to be complete. It is in the original wooden case and has the paper label on the inside top of the case with " Marine D department The A. Lietz Co. Manufactures of Engineering, Surveying , Mining And Nautical Instruments Main Off ice & S alesroom 6 1 Post St. Factory 632-48 Co mmercial St. San Francisco U.S.A. " . The case is about 10 7/8" wide, 10 1/4" long, 5 3/8" tall and has the original loc k, handles and latches. This is a neat piece of nautical memorabilia in very nice used condition with minor wear to the dust jacket. Please ask questions before bidding.
