MEASUREMENTS: 10 1/2" HIGH, 9" across and 4 1/2" deep.DESCRIPTION- This Victorian period original Waterbury clock is fabulous! It is hand painted with a fabulous floral design and much of it is gold leaf! Look at the detail in this workmanship! The movement is dated 1891 and t is a mark on the back which is pictured as well as all other marks and stamps which were able to be pictured! This is a rare, rare opportunity for you collectors as t is nothing like it anyw in this fine fine condition. It has never been chipped, cracked or repaired in it's 116 years of existance! The reason that these are so rare is that most of them have been broken or cracked or whatever. This delicate material is difficult to keep in this condition for so many years. The highest bidder will win this magnificent antique to cherish for a lifetime and hand down to your children! The door for the clock, in the front, has come off it's hinge and can easily be fixed inexpensively and is also pictured! The key for winding is missing but they can be purchased anyw and with no key, I wouldn't know if it works or not. T is crazing which is expected from such an old hand painted piece but it's only noticable close up and adds character for it's given 116 years of age.
