Offered is an original late 19th Century Watercolor painted by Burnley Bibb (Architectural Author and Illustrator) - bearing his initials (as shown). I have two Bibb paintings listed this week - this piece depicts an ancient town view of Meran in northern Italy. Being a student of architecture, Bibb emphasizes buildings employing his mastery of perspective and includes very detailed views in each painting. The smaller piece of the two listed measures roughly 15 inches by 11 inches and is initialed "B.B" in the lower left. Each painting is on heavy watercolor paper with some darkening and minor tears along the margins (as shown). Overall, just a competent antique example...questions are welcome!
