BEAUTIFUL**C1900 VICTORIAN 14K ROLLED GOLD ORNATE CARVED BANGLE-15gm From my own collection , I am pleased to offer this GORGEOUS Victorian 14K Rolled Gold Ornate Carved bangle... ..just PERFECT for the upcoming summer weather...! This is in wonderful antique condition and would make a wonderful gift for a loved one. I have updated the pictures and taken in full sun to show the absolute beauty of this. but the photos look a bit brassy but you can see the deep carvings more clearly , and i took the last three indoors , as it really highlights the pattern. Its a beautiful shade .. that buttery hue with a hint of rose gold unlike the brassy yellow gold of today. This is such a RARE find as it is ORNATELY CARVED ON ALL EXTERNAL SIDES unlike most slave bangles which and this measures over 8 1/4 inches inside measurement . HISTORY It just oozes Victorian , and simply exudes that beautiful Olde Worlde charm. These were often worn by wealthy women and this is truly a nostalgic piece from a bygone era. These are becoming so very rare, and they command high prices on antique websites. This one is no exception due to its unique styling and SIZE ! It is Circa 1900 by design and styling and is stamped inside 14k RG but has worn with time and another symbol and these are Made In Baden..This company was reknown for their quality rolled gold and gold shell pieces. They are highly sought after by collectors and this is like a high end piece. DESCRIPTION & SIZING . . Antique rolled gold is considered by antique dealers to be equivalent in quality to todays low karat gold .. The ornate carvings are on all external sides, and is the typical BADEN SLAVE bangle .. and it consists of beautiful VICTORIAN SCROLLS.. It is a fabulous antique gold color, that buttery hue unlike the brassy yellow gold of today, and has that antique patina you would expect with quality Victorian gold jewelry. It is a round shape, and has no clasps to worry about and simply slips over the wrist ! . The inside measures over 8 1/4" and it is just under 3/16" in width and just under 3/16" in depth ....It fits my upper wrist but can also be worn on the wrist for a large wrist. This is a slave bangle design..so popular these days and enjoying a revival ! The feel of this bangle is fabulous, it has that smooth feel when putting it on, that usually is associated with solid karat gold. . and the faceting is around the entire outer surface and i LOVE these..they look so rich and classy looking on the arm.. so dont miss this one ! It really is beautiful , just an exquisite piece... and weighs approx 15 grams which further adds to its appeal ! T are no dings or dents and the exterior is in FABULOUS antique condition , t is tiny bit of wear on the inside near the join, but this is not visible when being worn and is consistent with age and will polish up beautifully.. as this has not been polished in many years. This is a MUST for the Victorian collector, or the slave bangle collector Please note that t are some dark shadows in the photos on the front of this heirloom piece, due to the carvings , but it is just my reflection in the camera due to its amazingly HIGH SHINE..and the gorgeous antique gold color isnt showing up well in these pictures , but please check my feedback so you may bid with confidence.. a lot of my customers do state that the items are much prettier in person.
