STUNNING **c1920 ANTIQUE 12K ROSE GOLD FILLED RUBY SPINEL BRACELET I am so pleased to offer this truly STUNNING Antique 12K Rose Gold Filled & Ruby Stone bracelet...with 9 beautiful Red Ruby colored Spinel stones that catch the light beautifully. ..in a very ART DECO setting. This is SOLID NOT HOLLOW so can be worn daily without fear of damage or denting.. and will compliment day wear or evening wear... so versatile ! I was informed these are red spinel.. and these were also known as the "Victorian Ruby".. very common in this period. This is an amazing bracelet and will get noticed ! Please note in some of the photos it looks as if t is wear to the rose gold filled surface..but this is simply reflection only due to the high shine of this gorgeous piece ! HISTORY The design is stunning... ...and it is a quality piece...and sure to please It is Circa 1920 by design and style It is stamped 12k gf on the clasp and this is Gold FIlled and is a high quality gold . It also has the makers stamp WRE Antique Gold Filled jewelry is considered to be equivalent to todays low karat gold. These NOUVEAU items from 1920's are highly sought after by collectors, and this is a high end piece. DESCRIPTION & SIZING The bracelet measures 7 1/8" and would fit a wrist up to 7" beautifully. It is an antique soft rose gold color that buttery hue with a touch or rose gold.. The bezel set stones have beautful connector links and the links holding the ruby colored stones are just under 3/4" in width The NINE gorgeous faceted stones are EMERALD CUT and are square but are set as a diamond shape.. and I was informed they are real sponel and have some occlusions, but I am unsure as i am not a gemologist.. They are approx 1 1/2 carats each,. This is approx 15 carats ..you will NOT find another quite like this..just an amazing quality piece.. the stones are a true RUBY color.. and as the stones are open backed you get a looking glass effect ...you will be impressed . The setting is SOLID NOT HOLLOW so will take a lot of punishment. The feel of this bracelet is fabulous, it has that ultra smooth look and feel when putting it on, that is associated with solid karat gold..The large stones are bezel set ...quality settings indeed ! It has a strong foldover locking clasp which snaps tightly shut. It weighs approx 20 grams which further adds to its appeal! THis is a MUST for the antique collector. The only fault I can find is t are a few light scratches to some of the stones but this is consistent with age and is not noticeable unless looking under magnification. Apart from that in wonderful antique condition ! The photos do NOT reflect the absolute exquiste and detailed nature of this piece..and I couldnt get a true shot due to the shiny reflection of the soft rose gold ( the gold looks brassy ) and the beautiful ruby red stones. the photos appear dull as it was very overcast outside.....they are like a looking glass..great clarity.... . Please note that while I do try to describe the items to the very best of my ability, all my items are either antique or vintage , so tfore are not brand new.
