More pics below, please scroll down.We are pleased to present a rare Tiffany & Co banjo clock, produced by Waltham Watch Co. around 1920. Serial number 23655236. It has an eight-day, 37-size, lever-escapement movement with winding crown in lower box. The clock measures 21" tall with the eagle finial, and 5.25" wide. It has reverse glass painting of Mount Vernon (with a few small flakes) and George Washington above it. The clock shows some general overall light wear, including some rubs around the brass, the eagle (with a small flat spot on his beak), and some scuffs and light scratches around the wooden case, and some wear (widening) around the screw holes. There are some written marks on the back. The clock is currently not running - but then again I wouldn't know how to start it - so it is offered as-found and as-is.
