c1927 PLAZA HOTEL San Antonio Texas China 6 SERVICE PLATES Lamberton ScammellScarce set of 6, circa 1927, 10.75" dia porcelain hotel china service plate for the former Plaza Hotel in San Antonio Texas. The renowned Plaza Hotel opened in 1927 and operated until 1960. Pictures the hotel to center with 1920s era vehicles and various medallions to rim pictures scenes of San Antonio and a formation of Biplanes. Manufactured by Lamberton-Scammell China. Fresh from a fine old Denver estate, and offered with No Reserve.Condition is very good overall showing light use and minor scuffs to surface decoration.
