Please take the time to look at my other antique Judaica auctions, I have listed quite a few in every price range. 10 inches high, 4 inches at its widest point. Quite heavy and thick brass, weighs 3 pounds, 5 ounces. Some nicks by the base but no holes or splits. The quality of the engraving is of the highest level, it's quite intricate and detailed. Hallmarked underneath the base as shown in the last photo. The photo next to the water jug is taken for scale. Has a light patina that is darker in some areas, can be polished to a brilliant shine if so desired. Dates to circa 1930 from Israel. This vase was made by Alfred Salzmann, who owned a shop in Jerusalem during the 1920's and 30's. Besides making items such as this vase, he was also a designer of Jewish charity boxes, for example, this box that sold on eBay: item number 270175319638, in which his name is listed on the box as the designer. I recall reading he taught at the Bezalel school, but I cannot remember exactly w I read that, otherwise I would show that information in a photo in this auction. It makes sense though, as the Bezalel pieces in brass that I have sold previously were of the same high quality as this vase, although this vase is by far the largest I have ever offered or seen by Salzmann (his pieces tend to range from 1 inch to 5 inches in height). Shipping including delivery confirmation is $14 to anyw in the USA (insurance is extra and up to the buyer), Paypal payment means immediate shipping. Check my feedback and buy with confidence.
