Hello all!! 2007 is going to be an incredible year for auctions!! It was a fantastic summer of cast iron collecting this year! If you are not on my email list yet, I suggest you get on it, you don't want to miss out!! (Details below) T ARE 23 MORE ITEMS UP FOR SALE IN THIS AUCTION. I have banks ranging in age from 1880's to the 1950's. I generally collect but I have been having fun with these auctions so I'm picking up "extras" when I find them now & offering them to all you collectors out t on Ebay. I hit all the garage & estate sales, flea markets, antique shows & some Ebay treasures!!!! I have banks manufactured by all the major manufacturers. I also have branched out into some of my other cast iron interests, mainly doorstops & paperweights but I have some unexpected surprises as well. Always no reserve and starting at $.99 because I feel the quality the items will speak for themselves and get a fair price. I regularly have auctions, generally twice a month. My next auction will start Thursday November 22nd and end on Sunday December 2nd. If you would like, send me your email & I will add you to the list & notify you when I have an auction. I ONLY us this info to send you info on my Ebay auctions, absolutely nothing else.
Check out my other Arcade bank up for auction now! You are bidding on a Roper Stove cast iron & sheet metal bank . These were produced c1930 by Arcade . You just don't see these banks around much, this is one of the most expensive and rare stove banks in Moore 's!!! The two top covers lift up to expose the griddle and 4 burners, the one on the left is a little tweaked but works fine. The seams are tight, even; the pieces align well. This stove is in excellent condition with no cracks, chips or breaks unless stated. The paint is in excellent shape, 95% of the white and black paint intact, HAS THE COMPLETE ARCADE LABEL ON THE BACK , the embossed lettering "Roper" on the front. Looks like it has some touch up paint. Original round head screw!! 3 3/4"" high x 3 3/4 '" wide. Pictured in Moore 's #1341, page 125, valued @ $425 in 2000, C rated. "C" scarcity rating, "becoming more difficult to find, especially a nice specimen" . I suggest to the winner to print a copy of this auction, it will increase the resale value of your purchase tremendously having this information as a hard copy along with the bank. You are paying for this information, make use of it! Plus it's fun to look back in 20 years and say I only paid $200 for that way back when. Most of the banks today selling for $200-$400 were $15-$50 in the mid 1970's, big money when the reference guides I have were printed. Please ask any and all questions before auction ends. No refunds for buyer's remorse. Items are photographed and described accurately. YOU MUST CONTACT ME WITH IN THREE DAY'S OF AUCTION END OR I RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CANCEL THE AUCTION & RE-LIST. I WILL LEAVE NEGATIVE FEED BACK. DON'T BID IF YOU ARE NOT GOING TO PAY FOR THE AUCTION. I HAVE HAD QUITE A FEW NON-PAYING BIDDERS, PLEASE DON'T BE ONE!!! Payment due in 10 days. International rates are extended. Shipped via USPS priority without insurance unless requested. Seller assumes no responsibility for a lost or damaged package. FYI: I always go to the USPS to mail the items so I always have a receipt/ proof that the items were mailed (don't purchase insurance if you simply want proof of mailing, I will have it) Bidder pays shipping.
