c1950 original box, instructions and Radiscope, made by Wright Manufacturing Co., Houston Texas. Includes calling card for General Manager of the company. The Radiscope was a simple emergency device that visually detected the presence and direction of the source of harmful radiation resulting from an Atomic Bomb explosion. It had no batteries, no tubes and no miving parts. Supposedly it would last indefinitely with normal care and handling. This was probably something manufactured during the Civil Defense era of the 1950's. 12/3x4x11/2" box. As photographed and as found.
