c1960 ASIAN MODERN Hollywood Regency CHINOISERIE Chest TASTY Modernist NEO-ASIAN with HAND PAINTED Scenes Ultra TASTY, ultra GLAMOROUS, c1960 Hollywood Regency ASIAN MODERN long low cabinet. Clean modernist lines, the face has four hand painted Asian pastoral scenes in multiple colors, and signed by the artist on the lower right corner. Both sides have transfer painted scenes and Asian inspired detailing to the top and skirt. 75" long, 17.5" deep, and 28.5" tall, four doors open to reveal storage, each with tasty streamlined pulls. A perfect accessory in a home décor inspired by the modernist yet traditional designs of James Mont or Dorothy Draper. This was designed as an entertainment center, intended to store speakers behind both end doors, and components behind the center doors. T is a pull out tray for a phonograph. Would be perfect in the same function today, your flat panel widescreen TV sitting on the top and your components and speakers hidden inside. Or could be used as a breakfront of credenza anyw in the home. This has a Habersham foil tag on one interior door. Habersham was a local fine interior decoration firm in Denver, no manufacturer tags that I could locate.
