We now hold the posters in place with magnets (so we do not have to attach the poster to the wall in any way), which are small and round and resemble "push pins", but we assure you they are NOT! If an image has a black background, know that the odd circles in the edges of the item are magnets that hold it in place, and are NOT a defect! A 1962 Re-release Vintage Theater-Used Folded Three-Sheet Movie Poster (measures 41" x 81") from Sabrina, the 1954 Billy Wilder (nominated for the Best Director Academy Award) romantic comedy ("Three Academy Award Stars in Their Greatest Roles"; "From the play by Samuel Taylor"; "Written for the screen by Billy Wilder, Samuel Taylor, and Ernest Lehman") starring Humphrey Bogart, Audrey Hepburn (in her nominated for Best Actress Academy Award role; in the title role as Sabrina Fairchild), William Holden, Walter Hampden, John Williams, Martha Hyer, and Joan Vohs

Overall Condition: fair to good. Someone used the back of the poster in another conutry, and they painted much non-U.S. writing all over the back of the poster using black, yellow, and red paint. It slightly bleeds through to the front in many areas. T are many pinholes scattered throughout the poster (more so around the edges), and t are some creases, tears, and tiny areas of paper loss on parts of some foldlines. Certainly, this poster has clear defects, but I would think that a talented restorer could certainly remove much of the paint from the back, and after proper linenbacking, this wonderful poster will look great, and it will likely not require a lot of paint restoration anyw in the image!

If they are within the image, they are likely quite noticeable and distracting, and they may be in the blank borders, w they may be even more significant. Three-sheets are posters that measure approximately 41" x 81". When the studios began making posters, they could only print sizes up to 27" x 41". So, in order to make the 41" x 81" poster they printed three sections of the smaller size that could be combined to form the larger poster (this is why they are called "three-sheets"). Beginning in the early 1930s through the 1980s, new technology allowed for three-sheets to be printed with 2 sheets (usually one larger section and one smaller section).
