(50) 1930's US Navy Covers; Asiatic Fleet Nice and quite scarce lot of (50) fifty US Navy Ship Covers, circa 1930's, all postmarked, from US Navy Ships that served in the US Asiatic Fleet, safe-guarding US interest in China, along the Yangtze River and other asiatic waters. Cancels include Yokohama, Guam, Manila, Cavite, Canton, Pearl Harbor, Kobe, etc. T is a variety of ships, some minor duplication, but totally unchecked for useage, value or scarcity! Great lot from these forgotten Gunboats that protected US interest before the Japanese bombed Pearl Harbor on Dec 7, 1941, leading to the US entry into World War II.
